Payment Options and Sales Tax
We accept Mastercard and VISA. Please do not use corporate credit cards.

When making a purchase, you will shop in a secure mode using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption the Internet standard for allowing businesses and consumers to communicate and engage in secure electronic transactions. Your ordering information, including credit card number and expiration date, will remain encrypted and secure throughout the entire ordering process.

Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once the checkout process has been completed. Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, once the checkout process is completed our warehouse is immediately notified to pick and pack the order for shipment. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you.

 
Sales Tax
Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within Texas . Texas State Law requires that we charge a sales tax of 8.25% on the full amount of the order. Shipping and handling are considered part of the product.

Fraudulent Chargeback Policy
You receive an invoice upon completion of your online order in addition to a copy of your order via email. If you do not remember having placed an order with us, or the name on the statement does not look familiar to you (COS Medical Supplies, Inc.), please email us at ostomy@continentostomystore.com BEFORE requesting a chargeback with your credit card company.

If you place a chargeback with your credit card company (on purpose or by mistake) for an order that you placed and received, there will be a $45.00 research fee charged to your account to cover our investigative expenses to prove that you did make the purchase and that you did receive it . NO EXCEPTIONS! - If you do not remember making the purchase - email ostomy@continentostomystore.com BEFORE calling your bank!

 
Fraudulent Charges - Stolen Credit Card Purchases
We log IP strings on all orders - any orders coming back as a chargeback due to fraudulent activities will be diligently pursued through your local jurisdiction for prosecution to the fullest extent of the laws!

Shipping Policy
We ship anywhere in the continental United States except Alaska, and Hawaii for a flat rate of $8.50 (excluding enteral products, cleaning solutions, gloves, milk, DME products and bulk incontinence items). Next business day delivery service is no longer available. These shipping rates do not necessarily represent UPS or USPS published rates and may include handling charges levied by COS Medical Supplies, Inc. Items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and items ordered together may not arrive in the same box.

Please note the following information about our shipping methods:

  • Your order may be delayed if your shipping address is different from your billing address. We use this additional time to help ensure the security of your credit information.
  • You can expect your order to take 5 - 7 business days. Our Shipping Method is listed with an a Delivery Time estimate, such as "5 business days following shipment". Most items are available to ship in  1- 2 business days indicating how long it will take us to obtain the item before we can ship it to you. Also, there is no weekend pickup or delivery.

Most items are available to ship in 1-2 business days.

We try to ship out all orders that are received during our normal business that same day by UPS or USPS as determined by COS Medical Supplies, Inc. This means if your order is placed by 3:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday in most cases it will leave our warehouse that same day. Because we only ship orders on weekdays, if you place an order after 3:00 pm EST on Friday it will not leave our warehouse until Monday.

Occasionally, some items may be out of stock and will be on back-order status. We will process the remaining ordered items and ship the partial order. When we receive your item(s) in stock, we will ship it to you without any additional shipping charges.

 
Wondering where your order is? If you have not yet received your order at all and think that you should have by now, please contact us at ostomy@continentostomystore.com to request your tracking information. Please provide us with the shipper's name, order number and the order date. Once you receive your tracking confirmation number, follow the links below for more information. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:
  • If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbors or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes. If you cannot locate the package, please contact the appropriate carrier listed below.
  • If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.

Undeliverable Packages
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a full refund (not including shipping charges).

We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our Web site.

If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return or refund after 4 weeks from the estimated delivery date, please contact us at ostomy@continentostomystore.com.

Return Policy 

You may return most unused, unopened items for refund within 10 days of delivery. We'll also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error. Please note that we are unable to exchange items.  All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

We cannot accept returns of certain items:

  • Due to health and safety concerns, sterile items may not be returned if the seal or packaging is broken or punctured.
  • Incontinence, wound care, ostomy, hosiery, cushions and pillows and other products where the intended use is to be in direct contact with the human body may not be returned.
  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, is missing parts, or is defective. If the item is damaged or defective, please contact the manufacturer to see if they can send a replacement directly to you. Contact and warranty information, where applicable, can be found enclosed within the product packaging.

How do I return an item? All product returns must have a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Packages without a RAN will be refused and returned to the sender at the sender's expense. Please be aware that if the reasons for the returned item(s) are not valid, you will be charged for return shipment to the original shipping address at our flat shipping rate of $8.25. You may want to insure your return, as we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. All goods will be subject to inspection upon receipt prior to credit consideration.

If you have a product that needs to be returned, please follow these steps:

  • Please email us at ostomy@continentostomystore.com. Include your name, phone number, date of the order, and the item number that you would like to return. Please include your reason for returning the product.

  • Within two business days, we will email you Return Authorization Number (RAN), the mailing address for the return, and instructions. All returned items must be in their original purchase condition including the original product packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and all accessories. All packages, including the original manufacturer's containers, must be unmarked and not defaced in any manner. Items purchased as part of a set or multi-item pack may not be returned individually. Returns that do not meet these requirements will be sent back to you at your expense and no refund will be issued.

  • Write your reason for returning the product and the RAN on the sales receipt you received at the time you made your online order.

  • The RAN must be written underneath your return address at the top left of the package being returned.

  • Mail back the return PROMPTLY. If the return is not received within 10 business days of receiving the RAN then the RAN is void and will not be honored. Shipping charges are not refundable. Returns that do not include the RAN or are received at the improper address will be returned to the sender at the senders expense.

  • You may want to insure your return, as we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. All goods will be subject to inspection upon receipt prior to credit consideration.

  • After we have received your return, inspected it, and approved it for a refund, we will credit the approved refund amount to the credit card used to purchase the returned item(s). We do not accept COD returns of any kind.

Problem with an Order?

Do you need to cancel or change an order? Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once the checkout process has been completed. Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, once the checkout process is completed our warehouse is immediately notified to pick and pack the order for shipment. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you.

Did you receive the wrong item or an item you didn't order? Please contact us at ostomy@continentostomystore.com and request an RAN (Return Authorization Number). Indicate the number of items you're returning, as well as whether they arrived instead of or in addition to items that you did order.

Are you missing an item? If you are missing and item, please contact us at ostomy@continentostomystore.com within 5 business days of receipt. Before contacting us, please check the packing slip that was included with your shipment. In order to fill your order quickly and efficiently with items already in stock at different warehouses, we may have split your order into multiple shipments, which we would indicate on the packing slip as a back order (BO). If this is the case, rest assured that you will not be charged any additional shipping costs beyond those you had originally authorized. If any items are missing and not listed as a backorder, please make sure you have removed all packing material from the shipping box to confirm that the item was not hidden from view.

Risk of Loss
All items purchased from continentostomystore.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Medicare and Insurance Billing

Insurance billing and collection costs are a significant cause of high prices for medical and health care supplies in the United States. We wish to offer all of our customers the lowest possible price for our products, therefore COS Medical Supplies, Inc. is not a Medicare Supplier nor is COS Medical Supplies, Inc. a provider for any insurance plans.

Medicare Beneficiaries:

Notice to Medicare Beneficiaries. Medicare will pay for medical equipment and supplies only if a supplier has a Medicare supplier number. We do not have a Medicare supplier number. Medicare may not pay for any medical equipment and supplies we sell or rent to you. You will be personally and fully responsible for payment.
